the “i’m not a creep” privacy policy 👁️🚫

the tldr: i care about your privacy as much as i care about my own. i’m here to write, not to harvest your data like a sci-fi villain.

  • what i see: when you subscribe, i see your email address and roughly where in the world you are (like london or new york). i use this to know who i’m talking to, not to stalk you.

  • what substack sees: substack is the “big sibling” platform here. they handle the heavy lifting (the tech stuff, the cookies, the analytics). they have their own official privacy policy which is way more formal than this. you can check that out if you want. i honestly don’t have the energy to do that. but you do you, diva. pop off.

  • no selling stuff: i will never sell your email to some random company that wants to send you spam. i hate spam more than i hate math.

  • your control: you can leave whenever you want. every email has an unsubscribe link. if you go, your data goes with you. no hard feelings, no digital haunting, i promise.

  • cookies: substack uses cookies to keep you logged in and make sure the site doesn’t break. it’s normal internet stuff.

basically: be chill, stay safe, and let’s just focus on the writing.

note: i am a writer, not a lawyer (though i am a law student, i’m still not a licensed advocate, i’m not even old enough to be one yet lol). this is just me being honest about how i run this space.
